The Oak Hill Cemetery is a non-denominational cemetery located in the hamlet of Oak Hill in the town of Durham, NY. Originally part of a founding family's farm, the Cemetery has served as the community's burial ground for over 200 years with the earliest graves dating back to the early 19th century. The Cemetery is managed by the Oak Hill Cemetery Association, Inc., volunteers dedicated to preserving and maintaining the Cemetery.
General Information
While we welcome visitors to enjoy the beauty and serenity of our Cemetery, please keep in mind that our purpose is to provide a final resting place for those who have passed and respectful environment for those wishing to remember them. Therefore, the Cemetery is not to be used for any private or commercial purposes.
The Cemetery is open from dawn to dusk.
No commercial photography of any kind is permitted without the permission of the Cemetery Association.
Liquors or refreshments are not be permitted on the grounds.
